Personal data refers to all information relating to an identified or identifiable person.

II. General information on data processing

1. Collection and processing of personal data

We primarily process the personal data that we receive from our customers and other business partners as part of our business relationship with them and other persons involved or that we collect from their users when operating our websites, apps and other applications.

2. Data erasure and storage duration

We process and store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the fulfillment of our contractual and legal obligations or otherwise for the purposes pursued with the processing, i.e. for the duration of the entire business relationship (from the initiation, execution to the termination of a contract) as well as beyond that in accordance with the statutory retention and documentation obligations. It is possible that personal data may be stored for the period in which claims can be asserted against our company and insofar as we are otherwise legally obliged to do so or legitimate business interests require this (e.g. for evidence and documentation purposes). As soon as your personal data is no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes, it will be deleted or anonymized as far as possible. For operational data (e.g. system protocols, logs), shorter retention periods of twelve months or less generally apply.

3. Data security

Appropriate technical and organizational security precautions are taken to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and misuse, such as IT and network security solutions, access controls and restrictions, encryption of data carriers and transmissions, pseudonymization and controls.

4. Data transfer

Within the scope of my business activities and the purposes stated in each case, to the extent permitted and deemed appropriate, I also disclose these to third parties because they process them for me. This relates in particular to my service providers (such as banks, insurance companies or parcel services), including contract processors (such as IT providers).

III. Provision of the website and creation of log files

1. Description and scope of data processing

Each time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the accessing computer.

The following data is collected:

* Information about the browser type and version used

* The user's operating system

* The user's internet service provider

* The IP address of the user

* Date and time of access

* Websites from which the user's system accesses our website

* Websites that are accessed by the user's system via our website

The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user.

As with every connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider hosttech in Richterswill, Switzerland, logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the data, the access time, the type of browser and the browser request, including the origin of the request (referrer). This is necessary for technical reasons in order to make our website available to you. hosttech uses technical and organizational measures to protect this data from unauthorized access and does not pass it on to third parties. Insofar as we process personal data, we do so on the basis of our interest in offering you the best possible user experience and ensuring the security and stability of our website.

2. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the temporary storage of data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

3. Purpose of data processing

Temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable delivery of the website to the user's computer. For this purpose, the user's IP address must remain stored for the duration of the session.

The data is stored in log files to ensure the functionality of the website. I also use the data to optimize the website and to ensure the security of my information technology systems. The data is not analyzed for marketing purposes in this context.

4. Duration of storage

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.

If the data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized so that it is no longer possible to identify the accessing client.

5. Possibility of objection and removal

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. A user can prevent this by refraining from visiting the website.
